Who doesn’t love a good freshly baked chocolate chip cookie?! I know I love em. I’ve been trying for years to find that ‘perfect’ recipe. Although most were fairly good, none seemed to make me get that feeling of perfection! I think now, after countless amounts of different combinations, we finally found a winner!
Let me know down below in the comments if you love this recipe as much as I do!
Time: prep – 15 minutes | baking – 8-10 minutes
Oven temp: 350 degrees
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 + 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg (room temp)
2 + 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips (I prefer semi sweet)
• In one bowl, add both sugars + butter. Mix until fluffy.
• Add in the egg + vanilla
• In a separate bowl, add flour, baking soda + salt.
• Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until combined.
• Add chocolate chips
Spray your baking sheet or place down a layer of parchment paper so the cookies don’t stick
Roll into balls and place on a baking sheet
Bake for 8-10 minutes
