Classic peanut butter drizzle cookies

Peanut butter is a current o b s e s s i o n in my household, what is a better way to get that pb fix than a good ol classic peanut butter cookie.

I love creating simple recipes, especially those that toddlers or young kids can help with! Ben loves helping me in the kitchen, whether it be pouring in a cup of flour or sneaking some cookie dough from the bowl, because let’s be real…we all eat at least a tiiiiny bit of dough while making any type of cookies!

1/2 cup softened butter

1/2 cup white sugar

3/4 cup peanut butter (smooth, not crunchy)

1 tsp vanilla

1 egg

1/2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

Combine butter, sugar, peanut butter, eggs and vanilla

Gradually add in flour and baking powder, mix to combine.

Once all combined, form into same size balls, place on parchment paper and press a fork on to the top of the dough (see top photo for demonstration)

Bake at 350° for 10 minutes

Warm up a few teaspoons of peanut butter and drizzle over cookies once baked

Enjoy 🥜🍪
